We are an established independent furniture store in Connah's Quay; we are looking for a full-time sales assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a focused and self-motivated individual, a team-player - someone enthusiastic with a passion for customer service. Ideally we'd like someone who has previous retail experience, however if you are a committed individual you may be the one for us.

**Sales assistant - full time 5 days per week Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5.30pm inclusive, working alternate Saturdays. **Flexibility would be a definite advantage as we are a small company where it's crucial to fit into a team oriented environment.

You will be involved with assisting customers; we are looking for a friendly approachable, self-motivated individual with a positive outlook.

Good communication skills are essential - to be able to listen to customers' needs and advise on their product requirements.

Maintenance of shop floor and displays as necessary.

**Occasional help with delivery of furniture** (we use our own in-store delivery personnel and sell large items such as wardrobes, sofas etc) into customers' homes; this would be just to cover holidays sickness etc. The main part of your job would be selling furniture.

**Assisting with unloading deliveries of furniture into the shop from suppliers.**

Full training for all aspects of the job will be given including sales, deliveries, displays, computer work etc.

Training on all different furniture products will be given in store - adaptability to different customers is important as is good attention to detail and willingness to learn and progress. This is important in order to develop an in-depth knowledge of the products in the long-term aiming to talk confidently about features, benefits etc of different furniture ranges.

**Qualifications**:
Excellent verbal communication/customer service skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good time management skills.

Clean driving licence advantageous but not essential.

Flexibilty, adaptability and willingness to learn.

Computer skills would be an advantage but training will be given.
