- Crewe, Cheshire
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our ever growing team. The successful applicant will need to have experience of Business Continuity Planning and have previously supported ISO audits.
- What will you do?
- Within this role you will be supporting the Facilities Manager in the development, maintenance and implementation of the Likewize business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions.
- In developing your skill sets and BCP knowledge, the role includes planning and implementing risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- This exciting role will also assist with the planning, conducting and debriefing following regular mock-disaster exercises, to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. The role will act as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event.
- General duties
- Support Facilities with day-to-day administration of statutory and procurement requirements.
- Participate and support with internal and external audit requirements.
- Support with correlation of ISO documentation and control for 9001,14001 and 27001 certifications
- Key Job Tasks
- Organise and maintain contingency plans to deal with organisational emergencies, this will require:
- Correlation of disaster recovery plans for all physical locations with critical assets such as data centres.
- Assist with testing documented disaster recovery strategies and plans.
- Complete periodic reviews of existing disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
- Establish, maintain, and test call trees to ensure appropriate communication during disaster.
- Summarise and document testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Create business continuity and disaster recovery contingency budgets for immediate DR requirements to include our key supplier and how they would support an event.
- Create training and awareness presentations and materials.
- Maintain data within our information system and databases.
- Assist with risks assessments to business operations.
- Create scenarios to re-establish operations from various types of business disruptions.
- Attend professional meetings, read literature, and participate in training or other educational offerings to keep abreast of new developments and technologies related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
