**Regulatory Affairs Associate - Benelux**

The Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for legal compliance of all Holland & Barrett International's Foods & Food Supplements, Cosmetics, and Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products (THMPs).

Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Manager Benelux, a vacancy has become available within the team for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate - NL/BE.

The role will suit a professional with Regulatory experience, and graduated in pharmacy, formulation science, Chemistry, Bioscience, Nutrition or a closely related scientific field; alternatively, qualified in regulation related to food or food supplements.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Within the Benelux/ UK team be a contact for all NL / BE regulatory queries and also act as the contact person for regulatory authorities.
- Support various stakeholders with EU import related regulatory reviews / queries.
- Support NPD by provision of expert regulatory advice and guidance on new, innovative cosmetics, food and food supplement formulations
- Support the Labelling team, including approval of new product copy briefs and artwork.
- Notification of the sale of food supplements for Belgium and other EU / non-EU countries
- Review of product claims, marketing material, website sell copy and third-party packaging for legal compliance
- Attendance of trade association meetings as and when required and keeping up to date with upcoming regulation changes. Communication of changes to the business and input into business strategy to deal with change.
- EU wide notification of own-brand cosmetics products via the CPNP portal.
- Provision of regulatory advice to various departments within the business including the Operations team, Commercial team and the Digital team.
- To provide assurance that all materials, product formulations and finished products comply with all laid down quality specifications and any associated regulatory / legal requirements.
- To respond to customer technical enquiries, complaints and adverse reactions.
- Implementing programs to ensure that customer and supplier standards are met.
**The Person**:

- Can speak Dutch and/or French fluently - This is essential.
- Experience within Regulatory Affairs, ideally in food supplements, foods and /or cosmetics sector.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
- Solid collaborative, consultative, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team and offer guidance and support to more junior members of the team.
