We have a unique opportunity for an Employment and Training Manager to join us to support this great work
**The role**
This is fantastic role where you will successfullylead, develop, and manage high quality, collaborativeEmployment and Training programmes and services to supportour residents into training and sustainablework.
Reporting to the Head of Employment and Training, you'llwork closely with the Communities Leadership Team and Head of Business Development & Fundraising, you'llsupport in securing external funding where appropriate to enhance our services, and will alsoutilise your budget management skills to ensure all financial reporting requirements are met and that spend remains on profile
**Other responsibilities include**:
- Developing Sovereign's reputation in tackling poverty, unemployment, and under-employment
- Engaging with key external agencies to build innovative partnerships to maximise the social value of Sovereign's investment
- Workwith the Communications Team to develop effective marketing and communications campaigns
- Utilise and support the development of case management frameworks within Microsoft Dynamics 365
You'll also manage a small team of Employment and Training Officers and a Project Assistant

**About you**
To be successful in this roleyou'll need to be a self-starter and used to working in a remote world, demonstrating a positive can-do approach and have the following:
- Demonstrableunderstanding and knowledge of running Employment and Training services including externally funded programmes and proven experience within this field.
- Experience of supporting and mentoring a team to deliver blended services that maximise the impact of both a remote and direct delivery approaches when workingwithcommunities.
- Ability to influence and develop effective workingrelationshipswith a variety of key stakeholdersinternally and externally.
You'll be required to travel to our other offices and therefore having access to a car and Full UK Driver's License is essential
