Training Administrator

DCC Technology is a global technology distribution group, a division of DCC plc, under the Exertis brand name. This is a new role, providing an opportunity to support that growth. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System and related learning and performance systems, managing the processes, digital content and data on those systems, and providing support both within the team and to end-users across the Exertis global business/DCC Technology division. You will work collaboratively with the UK Talent & Development team and global HR teams, reporting to the Learning & Development Manager (Systems).
The role would be suitable for somebody with LMS experience looking for career progression, increased responsibilities, and wider opportunities. Training will be provided, including funding for professional qualifications related to the role, up to and including degree level.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including creating and maintaining course information, scheduling courses, registering learners, updating training records, maintaining system processes, and resolving or escalating technical issues.
- Managing related processes, including room bookings, trainer schedules, learner reminders and attendance, liaising with stakeholders globally.
- Support the management of the Performance and Goals module, including performance review processes, maintaining the competency library, reporting and supporting end-users.
- L&D Reporting, including training metrics, performance review reporting, compliance reporting, learning needs and evaluation reports, as well as ad hoc reports as required.
- Provide technical support to LMS administrators and end-users across the global business, including troubleshooting issues with learning records and elearning courseware, escalating to internal and third-party technical support where required, liaising with relevant department heads to ensure all relevant training is recorded, and promoting good practice to the wider business.
- Manage and maintain online content in the LMS, including administering elearning content from external suppliers.
- Evaluate third-party online course material and feedback to ensure technical integrity and learning and business objectives are achieved.
- Evaluating course feedback and impact, both online and offline, and providing summaries to the relevant trainers.
- Plan your time effectively and work with the Learning & Development Manager to ensure you can meet deadlines on multiple projects.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the Talent & Development team, and the wider business.
- Other related activities as identified by the Learning & Development Manager.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Experience of Learning Management Systems or similar
- Self-organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills, with a curiosity and tenacity to resolve issues
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, able to communicate clearly and effectively with people
- Graduate calibre
- IT literate, with demonstrable Windows experience, and a general interest in digital technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
**Useful knowledge and skills**:
- Previous experience with SuccessFactors LMS or PGM
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Interest in people development, training and elearning
- Ability to manage a large and diverse workload
- Personal drive and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
