**Reporting to Head of Emotional Education**

**_This role will require some travel across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Dorset so a full driving licence with business insurance essential_**.

As part of the Delta Education Trust, Delta Bespoke creates and manages bespoke learning packages for young people who are struggling with their current education provision. Your role within Delta Bespoke’s Emotional Learning team will be to offer one to one support to students in their homes or out in the community. We endeavour to help all our learners to feel that they matter and belong, enabling them to improve their social, emotional and academic skills to be the best that they can be.

Our Bespoke Education programmes create a unique balance between academic and emotional learning and provide opportunities for young people to develop emotionally and build the resilience and self-esteem in order to re-engage with their learning and in turn, their education.

With that in mind, we support our staff in developing their skills where needed.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to work with young people to develop their emotional literacy skills as well as practical and employability skills. The role will involve visiting students at home or taking them out in to the community to develop skills while supporting their emotional needs. They will build positive and trusting relationships to help encourage the child with attendance and engagement. They should have a particular interest in working with students with special educational needs, including those with behavioural, emotional and social issues.

If successfully shortlisted the HR Department will also be conducting an individual online search including social media platforms of your ‘name, education and employment’, to demonstrate due diligence following the updated ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022' guidance. The search will not form part of the actual shortlisting process and any concerns arising from the search will be discussed directly with you.
