- £23000 - £24000- Manchester- Permanent- Weekend Operations Coordinator; this position is available now High levels of customer services across the globe and you will be the first point of contact; you could easily be part of the bigger air adventure Joining this well-established organization, being part of their brilliant and experienced team; you will be able to have access to the seasoned perks.
- From Friday to Monday, from 9am-17:30hrs, 30 hours weekly, salary band GBP23,000-GBP24,000 and many more to discover.
- Key aspects of role
- Take reservations and enter into ours and the airlines booking system. Make onward connection bookings.Liaise with the carrier for spot rates / contract rates.
- Enter Permanent booking details. Monitor the daily freight on-hand for the main UK stations. Produce the booking sheet for the GHA. Provide the daily trucking instructions.
- Update the flown shipments in our system. Post flight and enter the ratings for the flown shipments. Provide daily/weekly Ad-hoc information to the carrier.
- Provide customer service and find solutions for any problems encountered. Supplier invoice checking. Any other duties deemed necessary or advised by the management.
- Skills-Requirements
- Previous experience in cargo aviation or air logistics or freight forwarding is essential.
- Great customer services across all levels.
- An individual who can spot potential to make a profit and take an opportunity.
- Be able to use own initiative and have attention to detail, being organised at all times.
- Be able to spot or react to problems and have the confidence to solve.
- Reliability, willingness to learn new skills and take on tasks.
- Can do attitude.
- Flexible in order to meet the requirements of this sector.
- Due to DfT & CAA regulations, 5 years references and clear DBS will be required.
