**Purpose of the position**:
The purpose of the position is to providing live/real-time Hiab & Loglift technical support for external/Internal ASC’s, along with internal service back office function and customers including Key accounts.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive technical support for Hiab’s product range
- Occasional Travel within the UK, Ireland and abroad as required to provide technical support and assistance with respect to the above and also to receive “Train the Trainer” training
- Being the Hiab & Loglift ‘Train a Trainer’ for all Hiab & Loglift products
- Delivery of regular product Training along with identifying training needs and assisting with planning projected training
- Continuous development of training & technical support aids such as Engineers interactive information
- Visiting customers with product issues and assisting engineers with on-site troubleshooting, and technical assistance & support on delicate matters, and to provide solutions and assure customer satisfaction & protect future sales
- Reviewing & advising the service team with high cost quotations & dispute queries
- When requested, be able to provide engineers reports on product related failures and components
- Reporting product faults and issues using C-Case, and liaising with factory personnel
- Finding solutions to product issues and producing work instructions & bulletins for those solutions
- Out of hours service management and space password management & yearly password renewal & distribution
- Occasional provision of technical support on alternative makes of equipment.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Be able to demonstrate relevant qualifications and/or experience across most if not all of these areas of responsibility; have the ability to confidently and effectively work on your own & within a small team in an ever changing environment
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability and confidence to clearly communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Have a sound knowledge of mobile hydraulics and ideally variable pumps and electrical control systems
- Have the patience & methodology to be able to analyses & diagnose often complex problems
- Have excellent knowledge & experience of Lorry Loader Cranes & Loglift cranes (desirable), some experience of TMFL & Multilift Demountables

- Ideally possess Allmi Thorough Examination licence (current or expired) and hold an Instructional techniques qualification (desirable)
- Possess good I.T. skills, including MS Office, Outlook and C-office (C-Service)
- Be proactive in approach, possessing a resilient / robust nature allowing you to work well under pressure within a busy and challenging environment
- Be flexible with regard to working hours (including out of hours) and tasks performed
- Have excellent planning, organization, time management, and communication / interpersonal skills.
