We have an opportunity for a Stores Person to a join a specialist engineering/manufacturer based within the Bradford area. You will be joining a well-established, state of the art engineering organisation that produces pressure vessels for HGV vehicles. The role is days based, offers overtime at 150%, company sick pay scheme and 33 days holiday.

The stores persons core purpose will be to take responsibility for the booking in and out of all stock, maintaining accurate records and issuing stock to departments within the business. Ideally the stores person will have some experience HGV driving. This role requires the movement of vehicles around the yard. Training can be provided if necessary.

**Stores person responsibilities**:

- Entering of all goods received on to the computer system to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled.
- Carry out inspection of goods received - checking for damage, quantity of and quality of
- Parts received.
- To accurately pick stock items in accordance with our procedures, for both materials going into the works, or sending out as spares to customers
- Use the company computer system ( SAGE ) to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with weekly stock checks as part of a perpetual stock check
- To keep the working area / stores free of hazards as per the company’s health and safety

**Stores Person competencies**:

- Counter Balance Fork Truck License - **Must Have**:

- Full Driving license including
- local deliveries / collections
- HGV License for Yard Movements, including to Paint and Weighbridge
- Flexible with working hours at times of heavy workload

**In return, the Stores Person will receive the following**:

- Starting rate of £12.50 per hour
- Overtime paid at 150%
- 33 days holiday
- Sick pay scheme after 6 months, 75% of pay
- 39 Hour working week
- Mon - Thurs 7.30am to 4.30pm, 12.30 pm finish on Friday
