A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a **Gardening Operations Support Assistant** to join the Gardens team on our prestigious estate. Stoke Park is a historic, luxury estate situated at the heart of a 300-acre Capability Brown landscape.
- Job description summary:_

**To support the Head Gardener and Gardening Team in all administrative duties, record keeping and diary management to organize and facilitate the smooth running of the department. To procure and collect supplies such as garden plants.**
- Record keeping: People - Training records, Holiday, Overtime, Absence records etc. Operations - Spray records, Health and Safety due diligence, stock control, equipment records, purchasing, invoicing and budget control.
- Take a proactive approach in the introduction of systems to automate the Gardening operations and recommend improved ways of working/cost control.
- Supplier liaison, account/contract management.
- Provide a point of contact for all the Gardening team and the wider Stoke Park team.
- Has previous administration experience.
- Sound financial acumen.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and is confident driving a large van to collect supplies. (The role will therefore include manual handling duties - please advise if you require any reasonable adjustments)
- Attentive to detail, with good written and spoken English.
- Intermediate+ IT skills - Excel/Word/Outlook.
- A can-do positive attitude, great team player and a natural completer finisher on tasks.
- Is confident, engaging and a clear communicator.
- Able to take initiative and work autonomously without close supervision, possessing great interpersonal working skills.
- Previous hospitality/gardening experience is desirable yet not essential.

LOCATION: Slough

SALARY: Up to £35,000 (dependant on experience)

DAYS OF WORK: Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

HOURS OF WORK: 8am-4:30pm (40 hours per week)

(Some overtime out of these days/hours may be required and will be paid accordingly)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
