An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our well established Nursery Teams covering a cluster of nurseries.

**The Role Requirements**:

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to on your own initiative
- Flexible attitude in accordance with the needs of the business
- To be prepared to undertake additional duties on request regardless of location within the organisation
- Follow company procedures at all times, to include meeting deadlines, and any other duties as required
- Full driving license, vehicle will be provided

**The Responsibilities**:

- Ensure exterior lighting is adequate, and well maintained at all times and report accordingly
- General maintenance Nursery (excluding electrics and plumbing), outdoor areas, sheds, fences, signage and outbuildings as and when required
- Support the general maintenance team, liaising with appropriate team person.
- Additional duties as requested

**Gardening**
- Responsible general upkeep, ensuring kept neat and tidy in accordance with the season
- Maintaining shrubs and plants in baskets and borders appropriate to the season
- Ensuring hanging baskets, and decorative borders are kept to a high standard at all time.
- Pruning and trimming bushes and hedges as and when required
- Maintain the overall appearance of the garden and surrounding outdoor area.
- Additional gardening duties on request
- Jet wash all paving
- Sweep and maintain car park and Nursery gardens.

**Vehicles**
- Maintain vehicle tyres, water and oil levels
- Valeting as and when required to ensure cleanliness at all time.
- Additional associated tasks on request.

**Health and Safety**
- Have a working knowledge of all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment, and work carried out is utilised in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Report any incidents considered to be a risk to company property or its’ employees.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
