**Salary**:£23,166 per year pro rata.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be based 75% at Sandilands (nr Sutton-on-Sea, Lincolnshire, LN12 2SE), and 25% at Gunby Hall (Spilsby, Lincolnshire, PE23 5SS)

Sandilands is a new haven for nature on Lincolnshire's wild coast. In partnership with the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park, the vision is to transform the whole site into a nature reserve where everyone can enjoy being outdoors and reconnect with nature. We’ll be working with our partners, the local community and holidaymakers to create a place for both people and wildlife. It’s an exciting time to join the team at the start of this project as you’ll be able to help shape the future of a new National Trust place.

Gunby Hall is a homely country house set in Victorian walled gardens at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The cosy tea-room is located in the former laundry building with seating in the courtyard, it serves sandwiches, snacks, hot/cold drinks and sweet treats. There is also a second-hand bookshop and the Orchard Gallery showing regularly changing art exhibitions.

What you'll be doing:As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the café. This is a busy, lively place to work, so you’ll need to be adaptable.

Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service.

Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate, and that the food is looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.

You’ll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that’s dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember.

We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
