**Position Overview**: We are looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team in Birkenhead. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate handling of goods.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
- Unload, sort, and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are securely strapped and stacked.
- Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and free from obstruction.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets and deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as required.

**Salary, shifts and Benefits**:

- Pay rate: £11.44 to £12.00 per hour (dependent on experience and shift)
- Working hours may vary, to be confirmed
