**Job Description**:
To assist the Head of Finance in all operational financial reporting matters, including weekly reporting, KPI compilation, profitability review, budgeting & forecasting and other ad-hoc queries.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Deliver the finance reporting cycle in line with Group requirements up to WD6 Flash
- Outline and report financial trends especially vs Budget and year on year that impact on the company’s ability to deliver budget
- Assist with modelling and submitting the budgets and reforecasts as required by Group
- Be an active part of the management team, ensuring the voice of Finance is heard
- Manage and develop the Business Partner team, managing all staff issues as necessary
- Assist the CML Commercial team with pricing, payment and rebate issues as appropriate
- Be aware of the Muller “GO” system of financial control and adhere to it (as a minimum)
- Redesign and build a robust weekly and monthly financial reporting system
- Support KPI development, analysis and understanding within the business

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified accountant with experience of managing commercial activities
- Highly numerate and literate
- Efficient and can offer flexibility to meet various competing deadlines;
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Tenacious: focused on delivery and closure
- Good communicator, both within the local team and the wider group
- Robust personality to stand up to competing organisational demands
- Excel spreadsheet competent
- SAGE experience essential; SAP preferred but not essential
