**NFU Mutual Agent opportunity in Market Drayton**:
As Agent of the Market Drayton & Wem agency you’ll have the opportunity to run an existing business in partnership with other experienced Agents of the NFU Mutual Agency network.

Highly respected within the local rural community, the Market Drayton & Wem agency provides a solid foundation for you to build on. Operating across two sites, the agency has a large and loyal customer base, providing services to an attractive mix of rural, farming, and increasingly, non-farming businesses.

Building on the success of the agency you’ll have the opportunity to nurture existing customer relationships whilst driving new business growth across the local farming community and wider pockets of business and commerce. In addition, you’ll be joining an active and loyal NFU branch where you’ll find plenty of membership growth potential, further strengthening the bond and elevating your standing in the local community.

**About You**:
You’re already a proven relationship builder with commercial acumen and an inherent sales drive to develop and nurture new business opportunities based on your professional, consultative approach.

A collaborative and supportive people manager, you know how to recruit, reward and develop a strong team that pulls together to help you grow the agency whilst ensuring all relevant regulations and standards of compliance are met.

With ambitions to be your own boss and to lead from the front, this is your opportunity to prove you can juggle between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day operational delivery, ensuring your business goes from strength to strength.

Whilst previous insurance sales experience is advantageous, a strong rural connection is critical given the significance of farming and agriculture in the local communities of North Shropshire.

As an NFU Group Secretary, you will be placed at the heart of the local farming and business community. This will enable you to make meaningful, profitable connections with farmers, growers, and the rural community at large, with a focus on growing NFU membership alongside growing your NFU Mutual agency. By developing these strong relationships, you’ll be representing and supporting rural people, sharing expertise, standing up for the countryside and playing a valuable part in sustaining the UK’s agricultural industry.
