**The Opportunity**

Our next Head of Care will have:

- ** Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care for Children and Young People**:

- ** Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or willingness to work towards this**:

- ** Experience working with the Children's Home Regulations, Quality Standards and preferable Ofsted framework experience**:

- ** Experience working in an Autism specialist residential setting, or Children who display behaviours that challenge**:

- Being an effective and responsible Mentor to the Registered Managers who report to you

**The Location**

Options Autism, part of the Outcomes First Group, are recruiting a Head of Care to join our team based in Banham, Norfolk.

The Head of Care role is a senior operational management role responsible for the management of the care services offered by Acorn Park. The role is responsible for the direct line management of the Senior Registered Managers, Registered Managers and other the associated staff within the Care team. The Head of Care is also responsible for the operations, quality of care, safety and financial performance of those services in line with the company vision, mission and values.

Acorn Park is situated in the beautiful village of Banham in Norfolk. Acorn Park is a multi-site with a DfE registered specialist school for children and young people with Autism and related disabilities or difficulties. Also within the grounds are 8 individual children's homes. Each home holds its own speciality ranging from support non-verbal children all the way through to high functioning young people who are learning independence for adult life.
