The post holder will have responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of our Primary Care Network training programmes, which include evaluation of professional teaching activity, CPD activity, e-Learning, and skills training for the clinical and non-clinical workforce including student placements and group learning events.

**Key Duties**
- Overseeing and coordinating the delivery of clinical education and training provision across the organisation and Primary Care Network(s).
- Supporting a broad range of training programmes and complex educational activities, including identification of training opportunities, training the trainers and co-ordination of projects to assess and/or improve clinical education.
- Ensure evidence and systems are in place for robust reporting for educational governance, quality assurance and other external bodies as required.
- Develop networks and liaise with external educational leads to identify, develop, and promote multi-professional learning to improve and share best practice.
- To identify opportunities to expand the Training Hub across the organisation and PCNs.
- Support and coordinate content writers in the development of our e-Learing training courses
- Work closely with the Finance Director to plan and monitor project expenditure.
- Develop relationships with peers to share learning and expertise at place or system level.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support the development of our organisational training needs analysis
- Work with eLearning content creators and the Training Development team to support the development of future development of courses.
- Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation.
- Plan and assess the ‘return on investment’ of all training or development programmes.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussion with stakeholders.
- Delivery and facilitation of training across a range of prgrammes.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance and updating of learning and development of the organisations webpage.
- Attend internal and external meetings representing the organsaition in relation to education and training.
- Evaluate training and development programmes to ensure continous improvements.
- Coordinate the clinical and non-clinical trainee placements across the organisation and Primary Care Networks including a mixture of clinical shadowing, training and peer review.
- Work with the PCNs to undertake accreditation to become a recognised training provider.
- Working with the clinical educators to support individuals on placement within the company by collecting feedback for their portfolios.
- Support the development of course content in partnership with the Clinical Leads on the fundamentals of general practice.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- delivering training: 2 years (preferred)
