We are looking for a Compliance Lead to join our Information Security & Risk function, to ensure Kingfisher’s technology estate is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as proving that this compliance can be clearly demonstrated to regulators and auditors.

What's the job?:

- Develop, implement, and maintain a compliance program - ensuring Group, local Banner teams and suppliers maintain operational compliance to regulations
- Ensure collaboration with technology teams on risk and audit remediation activities, including the development of strategic solutions and corrective action plans for identified issues
- Provide SME consultancy on key topics such as data protection and payments, including managing data maps, DPIAs and SARs
- Develop a continuous regulatory scanning function, identifying requirements for technical change and facilitating route to compliance
- Assess the outcome and risk position of regulatory or contractual breaches, performing impact assessments and identifying trends and root causes, to improve the effectiveness of frameworks and controls
- Deliver risk and compliance processes into ways of working across agile delivery, new demand, support, and third-party services
- Manage both internal and external audit activities including the support of audit planning, audit facilitation, input to findings and resulting action plans

What you'll bring:

- Demonstrable, practical experience in a data privacy/legal/compliance position
- Experience across a broad range of frameworks: GDPR, PCI DSS, NIST and SOX
- Experienced in managing auditors, influencing audit plans and scoping
- Positive communication and influencing skills with the ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels cross-functionally
- Demonstrable problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Strong attention to detail, project management and organisational skills
