PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Merchandise Admin Assistant to join our Merchandising team that looks after Fraser Hart in the UK and Fields in Ireland.

The role is to assist and support the Merchandiser with the effective planning, reporting and management of stock and sales within the chosen department as well as working closely with all teams to drive growth which supports the overall company brand and customer proposition.

As a core part of the merchandising team you must have good working knowledge of Excel, excellent attention to detail, a logical and mathematical approach to problem solving and be calm under pressure. You will also be interested in a career in merchandising.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:

- Efficiently prioritising and allocating stock
- Reviewing stocks at line/sector level
- Creating and managing orders
- Communicating and building strong relationships with suppliers and various departments within the business
- Running weekly reports for sales and stock levels
- Assisting with forecasting and assessing future orders for the business
- Reporting on trends and analysis of sales and stock data
- Administrative tasks including the maintenance of accurate files and data.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- University Graduate or Experience within a retail merchandising, allocator or retail analyst role is desirable.
- Analytical
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Dynamic, motivated, and driven to operate in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Team-player, proactive and willing to learn.
- IT literate with experience of MS Office - in particular Excel
- A person who is able to self-motivate and comfortable with the balance of home and office working.
