We are looking for an extremely passionate care assistant/support worker, someone who can provide a therapeutic environment that allows our service users to feel safe, respected and valued.

If you are someone who is able to make a difference in the life of those suffering from various mental health conditions, then join Eltisley Manor. You will be working in a very close knit team who are fun, enthusiastic and extremely caring for our service users.

Eltisley Manor is our 37-bed registered psychiatric nursing care home located near to St-Neots town centre (Cambridgeshire). The building is divided into different specialist areas caring for men and women aged 18+ suffering from enduring mental health issues and for those people nearing the end of their rehabilitation towards independent living.

**The role is based in St Neots - PE19 6SR, therefore if you drive and have access to your own transport then it will be feasible, otherwise, we do provide transport back/from the St Neots station/town centre.**

**Essential responsibilities**:

- To work as a support worker (sometimes known as a care assistant/healthcare worker) for our residents with the support of senior staff.
- To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including hosting recreational and activity groups, carrying out personal care, observations and escorting duties, such as general hospital visits, trip to supermarkets etc.
- To ensure the safety and well-being of our service users, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of person-centred care principles.
