About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to develop and implement recovery plans.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Identify and address the specific needs of service users, including housing, finance, and debt issues, access to other services, and maintaining positive boundaries.
  • Provide informal family support and work with individuals with young onset dementia to support them to remain active and maintain their current level of independence.
  • Manage your own caseload and work independently, with occasional supervision and support from senior colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience working in mental health, ideally in an outreach setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
  • Full driving license with business insurance.
