We require a HR Manager to represent the interests of our client in cross-functional circles, meetings, etc, as well as the realisation of top-down activities. Ensuring that the best interests of the company are always represented at the highest possiblelevel. You will be working with our global client, one of the world’s most successful premium manufacturers of cars, motorcycles, and provider of premium services. You will be providing support to the departments regarding individual HR-related issues by supporting the strategic delivery of HR related aspects and enhance business performance.Develop HR concepts for their respective field of responsibility in linewith HR/Business Strategy.Actively shape and develop departments and their employees from an HR perspective (e.g., personnel development and appraisal). Liaising, negotiating, and influencing relevant partners, both internally and externally, ensuring thatthe process requirements are met and providing regular updates to customer groups to ensure that HR information, policies and processes are available, accurate and timely.

As the HR Specialist your duties will include:

- Consultancy, advice, and support to management teams for; Disciplinary and grievance issues, Conflict Management, Process and Policy adherence, Absence Management, Dismissals and Employment Tribunal cases
- Working alongside the customers to ensure strategic influence on department and business performance/strategy.
- Contribute to, and manage projects both plant, UK and division-wide (e.g., e-HR) to ensure that the operational needs of the business are served in relation to project based activity.
- Agree and ensure compliance with targets for any change management projects within the business unit, in conjunction with the relevant Change Management Specialist to ensure that targets agreed are achievable and well managed in relation to their own businessarea.

As the HRM, you should have the following skills and competencies:

- Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent (e.g., Degree, Membership of Chartered Institute) preferably in an HR/Business Management related qualification
- Project management skills, High level presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, highly developed ability to prioritise, assert and make decisions
- Ability to handle pressure whilst solving problems and conflicts
- Highly developed communication skills.Understanding of MS Office and relevant IT systems
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, instruments, and systems. Knowledge of Employment law
- Experience of dealing with Company Councils
- German language is advantageous
