**Summary**
This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned international charitable publisher and make a major impact. You will be responsible for utilising AI to create nonfiction children's books in English for a new reading app that aims to spread the love of reading in the Arabic-speaking world.

**Responsibilities**
- Create engaging and educational non-fiction books for children, utilizing AI-based tools. Ensure that the content is accurate, accessible, and age-appropriate.
- Work closely with various generative AI systems to produce a steady stream of high-quality content. Be adept at utilizing these technologies to enhance storytelling and informational content.
- Employ sharp editorial skills to refine and edit the AI-generated content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and engagement. Tailor the material to suit our young audience's needs and comprehension levels.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in generative AI technology and educational trends. Continuously explore new topics and themes that could captivate and educate young minds.
- Work closely with illustrators, designers, and other team members to bring the books to life. Provide clear feedback and direction to ensure the visual elements align with the written content.

**About You**
- You possess excellent editorial skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to enhance and refine AI-generated content to meet high-quality standards.
- You have strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with team members across disciplines to produce cohesive and compelling books.

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Education, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in writing, editing, or publishing, preferably in children’s non-fiction content.
- Familiarity with AI-based content generation tools and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex information into engaging age-appropriate content.

**Location and Compensation**
This is a full-time (35 hours a week) position working from our Windsor office. The gross annual salary is £30,000-£36,000, depending on experience, and there are 28 days of leave, exclusive of bank holidays.
