Our Dagenham site are now recruiting for a HSQE & Facilities Coordinator** **on a** **Full Time** **basis.
Salary**:Up to 42k** **Per annum
**Job Description**:
The purpose of a** **HSQE & Facilities Coordinator is to be the first point of contract for H&S advice. Promote and encourage a safe, open and honest working environment including raising awareness of Health and Safety, Quality and Environment standards required
- Health and Safety Auditing (Annual Health and Safety Audit)
- ROSPA
- British Retail Consortium (BRC) internal auditing
- ISO auditing
- Assessing risk
- Playing an active role in monthly Health and Safety meetings
- Maintaining Safe Systems of Work Assessor
- Training trainers on Evacuation procedure
- Maintaining role of Fire Marsha
- Maintaining role of Racking Inspector
- Assessing Control of Systems Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- HACCP
- Managing Controlled documents
- Devising safety briefs including safety conversations
- Controlling of permits to work for contractors on site
- Conducting internal audits
- Health and Safety for the site in conjunction with the General Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, good working practices, Regulatory inspections/servicing compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- Able to demonstrate sound experience of ensuring a secure and safe site
- Understand the principles of effective Change Management
- Previous project management experience
- Experience of Health & Safety audits
- Schedule and practice self-inspection (internal audits) and host client and external audits
- Expedite non-conformities/compliance as a result of audit inspections
- Provide the methodology to encourage continuous improvements in order to implement best practices
- Implement and maintain 3rd party quality agreements to ensure continuous and integrity of the supply of critical equipment and components
- PC literate with a sound working knowledge of MS Office
- A personable and professional management style: you will need to liaise and manage our customers functional representatives (Health & Safety, Fire, & Security)
- Good time management skills with the ability and desire to solve problems
- Have a flexible in approach to work and working hours
- Self-motivated with a keen desire to participate as a pro-active member of the team
- ISOH qualified, NEBOSH preferable
- Experience of creating Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, etc. is desirable
