- Join
- **Ramp Supervisor** and help us send our all-important customers on holidayAt
- **Newcastle Airport**, we are now expanding our fantastic Red Team to include Airside handling and are now recruiting our own in-house
- **Ramp and Baggage teams **to allow us to fully manage our service delivery and ensure we deliver a fantastic service to our customers each and every time**What will you do as a Ramp Supervisor?**
- Manage the **overall performance** of the Ramp Agent and Ramp Team Leaders and ensure effective allocation and management of resource at all times.
- Provide operational **supervision of the ramp handling function,** playing a vital part in the achievement of on time departure targets.
- Lead, support and develop the Ramp team, including all aspects of** people management**.
- Play a pivotal role as an ambassador of our **safety-first **culture, making sure your Team drive the culture through every aspect of their work.
- Work closely with our **Passenger Service Supervisor colleagues** to deliver an efficient and friendly service that meets the needs of our customers and promotes our brand values
- This role is pivotal to the delivery of an effective airside operation. In overseeing and managing the ramp handling operation you’ll play an integral part in ensuring we achieve our On Time Performance, Safety and Customer Satisfaction targets.**What Can We Offer You?**

- This role is available on a
- **40 hour per week permanent contract basis**. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. Shifts will cover our 24/7 operation and will include working weekends and bank holidays.
- With extensive experience within a
- **Ramp handling role,** you will have strong knowledge and experience of the full range of
- ** Ramp procedures**. Previous experience of
- **supervising or leading teams **within an airside operational Ramp environment is required along with the ability to
- **prioritise effectively** and ensure the safety of our customers, yourself, and your Team. Additionally, you will ideally hold a valid
- **Airside Driving Permit**
