37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8:15am to 3:45pm Friday, 30 minutes for lunch)

Welcome to Wyvern Academy We are a vibrant and successful special school in Weymouth for pupils with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties, including autism. The school benefits from a spacious, purpose-made building and caters for up to 89 wonderful pupils aged 2 to 19 years.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic admin officer to work within our main reception office, a busy environment. You will act as a PA to Katherine, our Headteacher; provide general reception/administrative support, assist with a variety of day-to-day school-related administration activities and processes as required.

You must be good team player and put the interests of children above everything else. Previous employment within an educational setting is an advantage, as is a good understanding of the very specific nature of a special school environment.
