**Our Client & Head of Service Charges Overview**:
As the Head of Services charges, you will lead a team to ensure a compliant and customer focused service charge cycle. You’ll also be at the forefront of developing a service charge app for the company. This is a one off opportunity to head up and lead on their service charge innovation and to play a key part in making a positive impact on their customer experience, playing a crucial part in the business, and within steak holder and matrix management.

**Head of Service Charges Responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Ensure all relevant residents receive high quality service charge budgets to allow meaningful consultation
- Provide strong and effective leadership and implement a culture of high performance across teams
- Effectively promote collaborative approaches to engage teams to work successfully to deliver high quality services with cost-effective outcomes
- Have overall responsibility for a compliant and customer-centric service charge cycle focused on the delivery of the customer strategy outcomes
- Ensure that the different service charge regimes (fixed and variable) are set, managed and reconciled/audited
- Develop and embed a service charge business partnering relationship between operational scheme owners and the service charge team
- Work with operational scheme owners to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to ensure service charge estimates are issued to residents with quality commentary
- Devise a strategy to ensure that service charge budgets (including reserve funds) are realistic and that central and contract costs are included, flagging when service charge costs fluctuate
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business
- Feed into and embed the outcomes of the service charge transformation project, developing our capability across systems, process and culture in line with customer strategy outcomes

**Head of Service Charges Profile**:

- Evidence of excellent service improvement achievements in a complex service delivery environment
- Experience of building and managing effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, ideally in a matrix way across teams
- Track record of success in a leadership role
- Significant experience working with complex service charges
- Experience of effective analysis of complex date to make business decisions
- Evidence of commercial acumen with a track record of effectively managing financial budgets
- Good understanding of the relevant legislation, statutory and regulatory requirements
