Working within the HR Directorate, you will supervise the HR Helpdesk Team to provide a consistent and agile approach to delivering HR administration for all core HR processes and ensure the smooth running of the HR Directorate office on campus. The HR Helpdesk will be the first point of contact for anyone (e.g. University staff, vacancy applicants and members of the public) with an HR-related enquiry and you will work closely with staff across the directorate to ensure that our HR administration processes are fit for purpose, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action to ensure that these are actioned to allow us to deliver an excellent customer to our staff throughout the employee lifecycle.

This is a busy role with responsibility for supervising HR Assistants, HR Support Assistants and the Modern Apprentice to ensure that all HR administration activities are delivered to the highest standard including those for core processes such as recruitment, contract management, and UKVI compliance, delivering best in class customer service.

You will be a resilient and capable supervisor with a successful track record of relevant experience in supervisory skills including scheduling, monitoring and reviewing work of others in a busy customer focussed environment.
