Qualified Nursery Practitioner, £11 to £12ph

We’re looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team at our friendly, all-year-round nursery school in Uckfield.
The salary for this position is £11.00 to £12.00ph and you’ll join an established but welcoming team of teachers, practitioners and our own bank staff.
We’ll support you while you get to know the children and our routine then we’d like you to become a key person who plays an important role in the lives of the children and their families.
You’ll be offered a mentor (the Manager is floor-based and so always on hand to help you) and we’ll give you the time and money needed to keep your CPD knowledge up to date.
**Responsibilities**:
- To get to know the children and their families. (You’ll develop a strong bond with children and parents and become an important part of their family life.)
- To help the children learn new skills and independence.
- To plan the children’s activities. Our paperwork is kept to a minimum so you can spend time with the children.
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or above. (Level 2s who would like to train are welcome to apply).
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- You’ll need to be articulate and confident. You’ll be a Key Person capable of developing a partnership with parents.
- You’ll need to be able to work at least 3 days a week.

School House Nurseries follow a safer recruitment and selection process. Following an interview you will be expected to pass the referencing stage and pass a full / enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to employment. An additional criminal records check will be made for anyone who has lived or worked abroad.
