**Housekeeping Lead**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

As the Housekeeping Lead, your role extends across various work streams, requiring engagement at all levels.

Your determination and perseverance will be essential in delivering results in an environment that is constantly evolving.

With a forward-thinking approach, you are committed to nurturing an evolving partnership with our clients, ensuring that our delivery aligns with their changing needs and expectations.

In your capacity as the Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee a sizable team of Cleaners, which includes two supervisors.

Your responsibilities encompass coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that cleaning tasks are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our clients and their premises.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a large team of Cleaners including 2 supervisors
- Work along side the Facilities Manager to ensure all staffing levels and SLA are delivered on a daily basis
- Deliver all aspects of HR and people processes including on boarding RTW and investigations
- Staff training and development
- Promote excellent communications within all teams
- Process fortnightly payroll
- Carry out regular cleaning audits alongside the Cleaning Supervisors to ensure cleaning standards are high at all times
- Hold regular team meetings with both the day and evening shift

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
- Experience in a similar position within the cleaning/housekeeping industry
- Good planning and organisational skills, and capable of working to tight deadlines
- Excellent people management skills, and able to assist Facilities Manager with any People issues that may arise
- Ability to be flexible to suit customer needs and to cover operations
- Demonstrate good delegation skills
- Ability to direct and motivate a team, leading by example and always demonstrating best practise
