Group Technical Accounting Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is newly qualified or has 2 years PQE to join a business that can offer excellent development and career progression.
To be considered for the Group Technical Accountant role you must be qualified with strong understanding in the financial reporting standards IFRS 16 & IFRS 9. You could be either industry trained or making your first move into industry.
Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Support the budgeting and forecasting process of the Group.
- Manage regular Impairment Testing under IAS 38.
- Act as key accounting adviser to the Group during the annual external auditing and statutory accounts process.
- Streamline & simplify accounting policies throughout the Group.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and advisers.
- Perform reviews of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Support development of business case requests for additional resources and funding
- Support in the recruitment, induction and training of team members.
- Attend and contribute to management/department meetings where required
