We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Specialist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will be joining the dynamic and dedicated Financial Accounts team of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

You will be ambitious and motivated who is keen to support the Finance Department and its key stakeholders.

The Technical Specialist will report directly to the Financial Controller and will lead on on providing expert technical advice on complex accounting issues.

Acting as the technical expert for the Trust, the role will focus on analysing and advising on disclosure and accounting requirements emerging from new accounting standards. This role recognises the need for dedicated technical financial expertise to support business cases, development programmes and business process improvements.

The post holder will also provide capacity cover for the two Deputy Financial Controller posts as required.
