Join a dynamic finance team as a qualified accountant and take on a challenging role that combines financial control, business planning, and business partnering. As a key member of the project finance team, you will work closely with project managers to provide timely and accurate financial information. Your responsibilities will include delivering and controlling KPIs for key projects, reporting actual and forecast achievement against financial targets, and ensuring that relevant project staff are clear of their financial objectives. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in financial management of long-term contracts, including bi-annual estimate at completion preparation, revenue and margin trading, intercompany trading, cash and FX management, and customer reporting. This is a great opportunity to add value in a challenging and constantly evolving area of the business and to develop your skills in financial analysis, business partnering, and project management. With a strong grounding in accounting, you will be adept at financial analysis and interrogating data to bring the numbers to life and guide key commercial decisions across multiple projects. The role offers a great long-term opportunity to move around the wider finance team into a variety of roles, including treasury, accounting, cost base, and new business winning. We are seeking a high-calibre qualified accountant with the ability to build strong and productive working relationships within multi-discipline and multi-national project and finance teams, while maintaining independence and integrity. You must be a self-starter with excellent communication and business partnering skills, coupled with excellent analytical skills.
