**About the Role**:
Due to service development Vida Healthcare is currently looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking person to join our busy Workflow optimisation team. The role is offered on a part time, flexible working basis.

The main duties include:

- Understand and act upon clinical information received by having an understanding of medical terminology
- Be responsible for the identification and selection of appropriate Clinical Codes for any items flagged for coding either as ongoing work or as requests via tasks from clinicians.
- Be responsible for reading and analysing clinical correspondence received and determining the necessary actions, ensuring that the documents are completed and filed on the patient record
- Process clinical correspondence safely. Pass onto GPs and/or other members of the practice team letters that require further input or action such as prescriptions or referrals.

Essential
- Educated to GCSE level, with English and Maths being two of those GCSE passed, or two years working experience.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent organisational, time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information.
- Read coding within clinical systems

Desirable
- Previous computer training and experience
- Previous experience using SystmOne
- Previous experience of working within the NHS
