GamCare is the UK's leading provider of information, advice, and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms. We work across the UK and deliver support and treatment both directly and through a network of locally based partners. We work directlywith the gambling operators to drive up standards of customer protection across the gambling industry, to make gambling products and environments safer for everyone. We also work within key sectors, such as criminal justice, and within schools to raise awarenessof gambling harms.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

After working closely with the (then) new People Director last year to recruit the Senior L&OD Manager, I am now supporting my previous hire exclusively to recruit a very important role in their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to take a key role in helping to build learning and development and people capabilities across GamCare.

The Learning & Development Advisor will provide an effective and efficient service. You will work alongside the Senior Learning & Organisational Development Management to ensure their processes underpin the organisation's approach to learning and development.

You will instinctively work in a manner that aligns fully with GamCare values, demonstrating energy and passion, along with a positive, can-do attitude in your daily contribution as an L&D Advisor in transforming lives.

**ARE YOU WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**

Ideally, you should have a CIPD or Level 4 qualification in HR, business or Adult Education or equivalent role-related experience. And have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

The key skills we are looking for are:

- Understanding of learning & development, the training cycle and adult learning methods.
- Experience in managing and administering learning and development resources, including using an LMS.
- Ability to practically demonstrate the development and delivery of imaginative and impactful training materials.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
