As Receptionist, you’ll be at the forefront of meeting and greeting our patients and visitors, welcoming them to the hospice and adding value by ensuring they feel the professionalism, and care that’s at the heart of everything we do.

**The Role**:

- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression of the hospice
- Answering queries or directing queries to those who can assist - over the phone and face to face
- Ensuring confidentiality of patient data and compliance with hospice policies and procedures
- Announcing patient arrivals to the nursing team
- Liaising with contractors, ensuring correct documentation provided before commencement of works
- Providing information on services and retail products

**The Person**:

- Customer Service experience over the phone and face to face
- Computer skills (Outlook, keyboard skills, telephone)
- General level of education (GCSE) or equivalent
- Training will be provided but previous experience of working in a reception role is an advantage
