Executive Assistant to Director

**About the role**
You will take on an important role in our small and growing business as the right hand person to the Managing Director. We're looking for someone efficient, trustworthy, charismatic, and ambitious to grow with the company.
**What you will need to succeed**
- You have 2+ years of experience as an EA or similar in a startup/ growing company, ideally supporting Director/ C-level executives
- You're confident in prioritising the urgent needs of the business and the Director
- You're charismatic and able to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders within the business
- You’re a self starter and love to work autonomously. You’re able to identify gaps and streamline processes with little or no guidance from others. You use your initiative and excellent judgment to make decisions in an ambiguous environment
- You’re able to juggle multiple responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail at all times
- You have excellent communication skills. You match your communication style to the specifics of the situation and audience
- You’re a creative problem solver. You think on your feet and find solutions to problems that are anything but clear-cut
- You are proficient in using Google Suite, Trello, Notion, Airtable and Slack (or you pick things up quickly). You’re able to conduct basic data analysis using Google spreadsheets
- You're great at researching, testing, and sourcing things
**What the job involves**
- As we continue our journey of rapid growth, you’ll be the driving force helping our Director to stay focused on achieving their objectives and making sure their operations are running smoothly
- You’ll work side-by-side with the Director to maximise their effectiveness and enable them to do their best work
- Using your organisational skills, you’ll remove all administrative pressures from their life, balance their responsibilities, and deal with any issues before they arise
- You’ll identify gaps, initiate change and streamline processes. Being the Director's trusted advisor and a sounding board for feedback, you’ll amplify their communication and ensure their vision is implemented across the organisation
- In this role, you’ll get to take on various projects within the organisation, work closely with other team members and become deeply involved in the business.
- As an EA, the connections you build and relationships you develop will be the key to the success in this role
- Provide business and administrative support to the Director
- Coordinate the Director's and the company's complex and ever-changing diary, ensuring all meeting and event logistics are taken care of
- Support with internal and external communications within our network. You’ll draft communications on behalf of the Director and send them out.
- You’ll own meeting agendas, take notes & actions when needed, help the Director unpick problems, keep them aligned and accountable.
- Lead on event planning for a member and external events: organise logistics and help produce content
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
