We are looking to recruit a** **Children & Family Worker to deliver the Children and Family focused spiritual programmes within the Darlington Corps and local community, in accordance with the Missional Journal, to bring children and families into a living faith in Jesus.
- Support the operational delivery of the children’s, family work and spiritual programme within the Corps and local community.
- Lead Christian worship in the context of children and family ministry.
- Support the Corps Officer and Children’s Ministry Team in delivering programmes to celebrate children and family work.
- Demonstrate both a professional and caring manner when interacting with programme participants.
- Contribute into the planning and review processes for the programmes and activities.
- Maintain close links to the community and any relevant external agencies.
- A commitment to Christianity and is a practising Christian with a willingness and ability to bring ministry to the community.
- Experience of organising community activities for a range of different programme participants.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload to meet objectives.
- Good communication skills and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, programme participants and external stakeholders.
