You will report to both the General Manager and Hotel Director directly and be accountable for the general upkeep of the Hotel and Public areas

Duties will include
- bed changing and cleaning all areas of the Hotel including bathrooms and bedrooms when guests check out
- working with the rest of the team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness around the Hotel.
- you will carry out weekly stock takes and ensure correct par levels are kept
- the role will also include cleaning of the public areas in the main pub building
- assigning cleaning tasks to staff and other organisational duties
- supervising cleaners
- Recording missing or damaged items and arranging for the item’s repair or replacements
- training new housekeeping staff
- handling customer complaints or enquiries immediately and reporting any problems to the supervisor
- wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures
- vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and scouring bathrooms
- maintaining an inventory of items
- notifying Management of any accidents or problems while rendering service
- establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for cleaning and organising the hotel
- cleaning and disinfecting equipment at the end of their shift
- restocking Service trollies after each shift
- Establishing a good rapport with the customers and other team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
