Recruiting a HR Assistant for a permanent role
- Based in Edinburgh (Office based) for a business within Transportation
**About Our Client**:
Business within Transportation
- _ Supporting the HR Officers with the administration associated with new starters and changes to employee terms and conditions._
- _Ensure all leavers information is progressed and files archived in an appropriate timeframe._
- _Exit interviews and analysis of trends and themes_
- _Support the company internal transfer process and secondments, ensuring systems and employee data is relevant._
- _Co-ordination of company medicals_
- _Note taking and HR guidance at ER meetings e.g. absence_
- _Managing HR mailboxes, responding to general enquiries or escalating to HR People Officers_
- _Arranging First Aid courses_
- _Scanning documentation_
- _Update and maintain employee data on HRIS and provide regular reports/Management Information on HR statistics, including exit interview analysis, ensuring compliance with GDPR to the people function._
- _Carrying out drug and alcohol screening when required in line with the company policy and procedure._
- _Any other ad hoc duties and administrative support as and when required._
**The Successful Applicant**:
- _ Broad experience in an HR Assistant/Administration position gained within a fast-paced environment._
- _Sound knowledge and experience of working with employee data and records._
- _Excellent written skills, with the ability to create spreadsheets, reports, and produce clear and concise documents._
- _Well-developed PC skills including knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word & Excel._
- _Approachable and friendly; able to build strong working relationships based on trust and respect._
- _Ability to demonstrate attention to detail in all written work._
- _A positive 'can do' attitude. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed._
- _Can use own initiative and make recommendations for improvement._
