Contract: Until March 2023 (visibility to go permanent afterwards)
Rate: £750 per day through umbrella
Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Job Overview
As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of your assigned programme of work to time, cost and quality. You will develop and lead programmes which drive the organisation's strategic direction through the delivery ofagreed business outcomes. You will be expected to be an active member of the transformation community within the Centre of Excellence, supporting the Senior Manager - Programme Management CoE to embed best practice and ensure consistent ways of working areimplemented across delivery execution; maximising lessons learnt and creating a culture of continuous improvement. This programme is focused on telecommunications security.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the transformation, operational and people leadership required to mobilise and deliver business critical transformation programmes
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned Programmes to time, cost and quality.
- Delivering the agreed business outcome
- Following the processes defined by the EPMO
- Providing timely, clear and transparent visibility of progress
- Ensuring high cross-functional stakeholder satisfaction
- Driving programme mobilisation, including requirements definition, programme governance, capital drawdown and Technical/ Functional Expert resource allocation
- Ensuring that the appropriate structures are implemented to enable the ongoing effective execution of the delivery: design & requirements, solution development, test, solution launch, assurance & oversight, financial tracking, delivery and resource planning,as well as the management of change, risk & issues and dependencies
- Working with stakeholders across the delivery to ensure they have the support required to deliver to time, cost and quality
- Overseeing an implementation of new security requirements
- Adhering to governance

Experience Needed
- Highly experienced delivery management professional
- Subject Matter Expert: Project & Programme Management (waterfall & agile) in a complex business transformation change environment
- The gravitas, credibility, and leadership skills necessary to lead and successfully deliver large, complex, pan-business transformations
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and operate at the senior management level
- High level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented environment
- Telecommunications/Financial industry
- Corporate Experience in heavily regulated environments
