**Part-time flexible handyperson approx. 4-6 hours per week initially, more may be available post-lockdown. £10 per hour plus expenses/holiday**

Gardener/DIY/Maintenance/Handyperson needed on a weekly basis to help manage house and garden for an employer with chronic illness. Will need to be able to lift and carry, climb ladders, use saw and power tools, dig, run errands eg to waste tip/garden centre/building supplies stores, mend/put up fencing and other structures etc. Must also be willing to turn a hand to other household support eg shopping, post/delivery, driving, and errands. Will work outdoors initially but once safe to do so in relation to Covid, indoor maintenance tasks will also be required.

**Skills and experience**:
Gardening skills, can tell a weed from a flower, prune, water & feed appropriately etc

DIY skills and general handyperson/fixing skills

Painting/decorating

Tidy, considerate, efficient worker, cleans up after self

Reliable, honest, conscientious,

Able to shop, follow instructions accurately, run errands

Driving licence

Understanding and awareness of health and safety eg in using tools

Awareness and compliance with Covid safety measures

Animal-friendly

Polite, friendly, easy-going, hardworking and helpful

Good timekeeping

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
