Accounts Administrator

**ORB Recruitment **have a fantastic opportunity for an **Accounts Administrator** to join our clients team who is a well-established construction contractor, with work taking place at their head office in the **Dinnington area (S25).**
- Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial records.
- Manage and maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Assist in payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating hours, and addressing any payroll-related queries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Plus other admin duties.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Exceptional organizational
**Pay**:Up to £35,000
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
