**The role**

This role of Trade Training and Events Manager is responsible for managing the trade events and training programme with the support of a training executive and an events executive. This role will ensure that the training & events plan supports the overallTrade Marketing and Sales Operations strategy and will increase the profile of Cunard and improve travel agents awareness and understanding of the Cunard brand.

**You will**:

- Curate an events programme that include in person and virtual events, both on shore and on board. Ensure the training content is adaptable and suitable for different types of audiences as there will be a mixture of large scale and intimate VIP events.
- Ensure that training and events complement each other and are supportive of the brand strategy whilst delivering key sales and brand messages that will educate and inspire travel agents.
- Deliver successful events and training which will require precise planning, effective budget control and stakeholder management.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

Travel may be required for training delivery and hosting of training events on board ships / in the UK, this may on rare occasion require out of hours working.

- Experience of developing and delivering events of different guest sizes.
- Experience of working for a company in an administration-based role, ideally in travel
- Strong project management, organisational and communication skills
- Proven experience of people management
- Ability to work with websites and online learning management software
- Strong presentation skills with an ability to engage an audience
- Stakeholder and Budget management experience

You will have a relevant degree or similar level qualification or equivalent experience.
