Eastbourne, United Kingdom Thrive Tribe Full time

**Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive**

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier

It’s an exciting time for One You East Sussex as we celebrate being awarded a further 6 years of providing the county’s healthy lifestyle service. Our aim is to support the residents of East Sussex to make positive lifestyle changes by moving more, eating healthier, reducing alcohol and stopping smoking.

We’re looking for a Stop Smoking Advisor to join our existing team You will be contributing to reducing the smoking prevalence in East Sussex by supporting clients through a 12 week one to one course using behaviour change and medication.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as a **Stop Smoking Advisor** might include:

- Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values
- Delivering high quality evidence-based stop smoking interventions, adhering to the national standards.
- Working autonomously and managing own caseload.
- Ensuring caseload data is input into our IT platforms in a timely manner.
- Using good time management skills whilst working in a fast paced environment.
- Working with colleagues across the One You East Sussex to implement service developments - we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources
- Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.

**About you...**

More than anything, we are looking for a team player who puts their heart in to their work. Our core values are very important to us and guide everything we do, so we’d love it if they resonate with you too

**Be the change**

You like helping people. You’ll be working with those who need help the most, empowering them to make positive changes to thrive.

**Be effective**

You’re patient and can adapt under pressure. Always happy to make time for other people. And have a great attitude.

**Be happy**

You recognise the power of a smile. You value a fun, supportive workplace and want to come to work raring to go (check out our rating on Glassdoor).

**Be successful**

You are motivated and driven. Happy working solo or as part of a team, you love meeting targets. And will be given opportunities to contribute and develop your career.

**Be big-hearted**

You want to make a difference. Working with a like-minded team of optimistic people, we want the same thing to do meaningful work and change lives.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some delivery experience of supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices. You will need to be a team player but also self motivated and able to work autonomously. A proactive approach is important and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. You will be good with IT systems (or able to learn new platforms) and confident in face to face clinic setting within the community.

Although previous experience is beneficial, it is in no way essential - we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you We will provide all the training and support you need to get going. If you feel this is you, then don’t delay - the closing date is 07/06/24

**Perks...**

Every person makes Thrive Tribe the incredible place it is to work and play together, we’re unstoppable. Within our buzzing environment our talented people work hard but we ensure lots of fun is thrown in too

We offer you;
- Regular team events and activities, including ThriveFest and our annual Challenge Weekend (for those who want to put their fitness to the test)
- Flexible working - we’re serious about life/work balance, speak to us about flexible hours
- Tailored health and wellbeing support such as access to life coaching Rewards portal offering discounts on shops, restaurants, and days out
- Enhanced parental leave
- 23 days holiday, increasing every year up to a maximum of 29 days (plus Bank Holidays)
- And last but not least, a day on us to live by our values

**Contract**:Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday (no weekends or evenings)

**Salary**: Starting at £22,500 per year (rises to £25,000)

**Location**:This job is based in East Sussex, with regular travel across the County (car owner essential) & occasional requirements to attend Thrive Tribe HQ in Stratford.
- Please note, the successful applicant will be required to have the right to work in the UK._
