- **Job Summary**:
Day to day operational management and delivery of patient care to our commissioners. The strategic development of the company’s operations systems and practices to improve commercial efficiency and cost effectiveness. Line management of Operations leads and supervisors.
- **Duties, Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
**Clinical**
- **Support the Clinical Operations Director in the realisation of the company’s business strategies and the delivery of high-quality patient-focussed care, in a safe and sustainable way. Play a key role in the development and structuring of long-term operational plans for the improvement of business procedures and processes.**:
- Responsible for the delivery of excellent patient care within the company to agreed quality and financial standards.
- Support the Company’s Governance agenda in key areas to include clinical and HCPC compliance, clinical audit, patient records, risk, and complaints. Ensure that the staff in the company understand and comply with regulations, standards and company requirements, including agreed time scales for delivery. The post holder will work closely with the governance team and other leads\managers to develop action plans to support and develop the safe effective delivery of services.
- Work with the Education Lead and joint manage Team\Clinical Mentors to provide clinical management, leadership, and direction for the company. Working with the Clinical Operations Director to ensure the service meets CQC and Company standards and quality requirements and, other key clinical performance indicators agreed locally with commissioners and contracted partner.
- Ensure appropriate systems and processes are developed and in place to allow the organisation to effectively develop and implement a high performing and compliant service.
- Accountable for the clinical and operational performance metrics for the A&E and Events divisions of the company, analysing and evaluating key data sets, interrogating quantitative and qualitative data generated internally by the company or externally by a client, and from external sources.
- To identify and monitor trends, and to continually evaluate and audit the quality and effectiveness of the clinical teams, identifying gaps in knowledge and practice and to use this data to develop and implement action plans when appropriate.
- Maintain and audit the company’s medicines management systems, ensuring all staff are compliant with MSOP’s (PGD’s) and initiate clinical communications to staff and management when required.
- Maintain and audit patient records, ensuring all staff are compliant with correct completion and quality of information. Monitor and report on ACQI’s
- Work with education to scope out develop and maintain any training delivered follows company clinical policy & procedure and advise where required.
- Promote a culture of CPD within the company and ensure staff clinical portfolios are developed and maintained through mentors.
- Will be required to maintain their clinical qualification and to undertake clinical duties as required to support operational delivery needs. The role will, whilst predominantly office based, operate and travel across all sites within the company providing clinical & operations managerial support to the staff.
- Regularly audit processes and facilities to ensure a quality clinical service is being provided.
- Be involved in the planning and development of the workforce, to enable it to meet the changing legislative and commissioner needs, company plans to deliver a widening range of mobile health care services.
- Proactively identify key factors and implement systems
- to identify processes affecting performance and resource availability and ensure that these are actioned without reasonable delay.
- Set up and audit all clinical aspects of the company to ensure its BCI and emergency or resilience plans are effective.
**Clinical Operations**
- **Working with the Operations Manager ensure that staff in the company are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, noting in particular those that safeguard staff, equipment and resources, setting quality standards as appropriate, proposing, interpreting, developing and implementing policy appropriate to the company, including policies which impact on service provision and other areas of the service delivery.**:
