Act as the CEOs trusted sounding board, supporting the CEO to navigate through uncertainty and risk. Deal with highly strategic, contentious, sensitive, delicate and confidential information. Represent the view of the Office of the Chief Executive at the highest level, in their absence, and at key strategic meetings (including external meetings). Attend a range of forums with the CEO.

Oversee the executive office of the CEO to support the Chief Executive Officer in the day-to-day management of the ICB providing tactical and strategic support, tracking commitments, understanding challenges and consulting on solutions. Portfolio Management Office (including the flexible pool) Ensure the PMO has the capacity and capability to support delivery of the improvement and transformation programme and help to define and facilitate the delivery of measurable outcomes. Ensure the PMO provides expertise in service transformation, quality improvement and business change and work with colleagues across the organisation and the system to build functionality and capability to enable transformation. Communications and Engagement Executive lead for engagement and communications ensuring we fulfil our statutory responsibilities of engaging with our population.
