Location: Tetbury, GL8
**Job Type**: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 until 17:00. 1 day per week working from home.

The family business has been trading since 1987, prioritising quality and end-to-end customer service. Woodlodge distributes products to over 2,000 garden centres and retail outlets nationwide.
We are now looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance Department. This fast-paced and varied role will be responsible for running the end-to-end accounting process for our subsidiary companies. This role would be perfect for an established Finance Assistant looking for their next step up.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Running the sales and purchase ledger for our subsidiary companies on Sage 200;
- Responsible for sales invoicing, chasing overdue accounts and ensuring any queries are resolved;
- Working with relevant stakeholders to ensure invoice/credit disputes are resolved in a timely manner so not to delay payment;
- Produce detailed insight into monthly variance analysis of actuals vs forecast and prior year for submission to the directors
- Assisting with audit tasks;
- Assist the rest of the finance team with day-to-day tasks as and when necessary; a true team player.
- Have a strong background in finance with previous experience.
- AAT/ACCA qualified (desirable)
- Posses strong excel skills and able to analyse/manipulate large amounts of data
- Be confident, hardworking with attention to detail and accuracy
- Be inquisitive with a tenacity for continuous improvement
