Our services cover all aspects of waste management including advice on how to reduce, re
- use, recycle and recover waste products. The services we offer are available to a wide and varied client base which include wheeled bin collections, site clearances and skip hire, through to large roll on roll off containers as well as our own Recycling Centre. Our aim is simply to provide a reliable first class service with the assurance that each client remains fully compliant with current legislation.

Due to our continued expansion we are currently seeking a Transport Co-Ordinator Supervisor based at our head office at Turners Hill near Crawley.

As the Transport Coordinator Supervisor, you will be supporting with site health and safety, logistics/route planning, order fulfilment and business procedures, whilst ensuring operational excellence is achieve and continuous improvement in standards of customer service and the delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervising a fleet of specialist waste vehicles and the team of drivers. Motivating, coaching, and developing the team to maintain the safe and efficient working environment
- Route planning, ensuring the most cost effective routes are used to best meet the customer requirements.
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations including driver and customer queries.
- Processing bookings via computer programme and data entry.
- Administration for incoming / outgoing waste from our Waste Transfer and Recycling Centre as well as fleet compliance
- Liaising with various internal departments, including our Maintenance Team, Recycling Centre and Collections business.

Skills required:

- Strong people skills with a can do attitude
- Ability to work in a high activity office environment.
- Confident telephone and written communication skills.
- Being comfortable working with IT systems, apps and a variety of different programmes.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Disciplined and enthusiastic, self-driven and motivated.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A good knowledge of the local area.
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues or delays in transportation operations.
- Work well with others to achieve a common goal.

This is a high activity office and would suit someone who thrives on working in a busy environment. You will need to be able to maintain motivation throughout the day and have a can-do attitude. Whilst experience would be an advantage, is not necessary, just the right outlook and an ability to retain information along the way, as initially there will be a lot to learn.

You will be required to work between the hours of 08.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday. Saturdays are worked on a rota basis, 1 in 3 between 07.00 and 12.00.
