Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve and we are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Finance and Governance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Farleigh Hospice as a key member of the Finance and Governance team. The role will predominantly be to maintain the day to day aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger functions, undertaking regular liaison with our Suppliers and providing much needed support and information to departments across Farleigh Hospice in this respect. You will also be performing some month end tasks and providing administrative support to the finance team as and when required.

You will be an accounting technician through qualification (AAT) or equivalent experience and have a background working in a busy finance team. You will have good attention to detail, good IT skills and analytical ability.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently as well as being a supportive team player. You will need to be flexible and open and supportive of change as our services continue to grow at Farleigh.
